Now This Is A Wet Bar!

In-pool bars are such a fun way to help create an outdoor oasis! The goal of this project by Granite Grannies of Upper Marlboro, MD was to create a dazzling focal point for the pool area that was still practical and low-maintenance. The seating area was placed on a shallow "shelf" on one end of the pool, visually anchoring the curves of the patio and pool areas. A spillover shelf in the same stone was designed to tie in the two areas. The Golden Sparkle Granite has a strong enough pattern to stand out even on the stools. It has the appearance of amber spilled onto a sandy background, an effect that coordinates well with the Mediterranean blue tile and the cerulean pool water gently swirling around the stone.
